I'll go first. I have a special Dru Hill moment i'd like to share. A few months ago, my best friend, Lil' Bizzy was murdered. If you've been to my page, you probably already know. Well, I after i heard lil' bizzy was murdered, I was feeling kinda low, actually i was on the verge of going out and splittin wigs myself, but on my way out the door, the CD (which i play 24/7) just happened to jump to April Showers (my favorite song by my favorite member) and i just stopped. A life was saved because that song came on and those who know me personally, know that i would have gone through with what i was doing (cause i knew exactly who did it). But i didn't, i stayed at home and chilled. Later on that week right after the funeral, i was driving to the grave site wit my boy tony and 5 Steps came on the radio. For the first time, i cried. I actually understood what that song ment at that moment. It was sad, but at the same time it made me feel a whole lot better.
I remember the first time i met dru hill, i got to spend the day with them and it was amazing how cool they were (sometimes). The ones who were the most down to earth were Woody and Nokio (who is tha bomb, thought u knew...). Jazz is really goofy and sisqo has problems, he says shit that doesn't make sense but it's funny.
Well the first time I heard dru hill was when my friend was singing it in class. I was like "what are you singing?," she told me "Tell Me" and I just said oh ok. Anyways as the days went by I kept hearing the song and I thought it was Jodeci. But I soon found out it wasn't. I never saw all of Tell Me video because I would always turn the channel. When I finally saw them in IN MY BED, I was like dang thats them!! From that day on I've been a devoted DRU HILL fan. 98 Year of the Dru~
I got one: It all happened Christmas Day... I was over my boyfriend's house (Big Mike) and we were chillin in front of the tree and listning to Dru Hill (he always plays it). So, April Showers comes on and we start slow dancing or whatever and then all of a sudden mike goes on one knee, pulls out this PHAT ass rock and asks me to marry him... Well, to make a long story short, we're getting married in June. *sniff* and it was all happening *sniff* while Dru Hill was playing in the background *sniff*. I FEEL SO SPECIAL...
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DRU HILL. I REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME I SAW THEIR VIDEO ON BET. I THOUGHT SISQO WAS "THE BOMB." I'VE SEEN HIM A COUPLE OF TIMES ON MTV AND HE IS WACKY. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEIR MUSIC AND I LOVE THEM. THEY HAVE SORT OF A STAGE PRESENCE THAT SEPARATES THEM FROM THE REST OF THE R&B SINGERS. I HOPE THEY KEEP GOING STRONG.
Well Ya know..............I love dat song We're Not Making Love No more.It is beautiful. My boyfriend dedicated it to me on the radio,cause we was havin some problems an stuff. It was so beautiful.Sisqo just has a way of taking the song,and singing it so it just captures your whole body,and gets your attention. It just makes you feel so so so so emotional.It just has a grip on you. Their voice,is sorta like a church choir,it can give you the holy ghost when you let it come into you.And the songs that they sing are always not about the same thing.They branch out and hit other areas,but it still is about love.
Aiight I'ma tell the 1st time I saw Dru Hill. It was in '97 and everytime their "In My Bed" Video came on I'd always turn the channel (I always do that whenever someone new comes out wit a video...but anyway) So a couple of days later my sister was lookin at that show called "All That". And she had it on REAL loud so I went in there and turned it down and as soon as I was about to go back into my room, I looked up at the screen and Dru Hill was performing. I didn't know who they were at the time so I asked my sister who is that and she said some group named Dru Hill. (It had been the very first time I actually saw the members of Dru Hill) So I didn't want to say it outloud but in my mind I was like damn he kinda fine(Sisqo). So right after that I got up and went back in my room and Dru Hill's video "In My Bed" just came on. So I descided to sit down and watch that video. And at that moment... I just fell in love wit them. So Eva since then I have been hooked on Dru Hill.

Here's my Dru Hill story. It's pretty long, so be prepared. Well, one day I was listening to the radio on my way home from school. All of a sudden, Rick Party (of V-103 here in Atlanta) came on and said "Here in the studio is Dru Hill!" I almost screamed out oud, but I managed to contain myself. Anyway, they were taking calls in ths studio. It was making me mad too, becuse I wanted to call and ask INTELLIGENT questions, and the only people that were calling in were ghetto-ass girls telling Sisqo how fine he was. One girl was like "Sisqo you should be call (not "called") "Dru Fine" cuz you is so fine!" I was pressed to get home, and after about fifteen minutes I finally got there. I was determined to get through the lines, and after trying about 25 times, I got through. I said that when I called, I was gonna ask intelligent questions, but when they answered the phone, all I could get out was "Nokio, I love you. I just want you to know that." His response was "aww... I love you too." I was in heaven. Anyway, I went on to tell them that I thought their next single should be either "April Showers" or "All Alone". I was cut off by Sisqo who said "So what? You don't love me?" and how could I say no? Then Nokio came back with "But I thought you loved me?" Then they started acting like they were arguing, and then here comes Jazz (or it might've been Woody) out the blue with "You don't love me either", and so on and so on until I finally said "I love you all". Afterwards, I told Jazz happy birthday (this was Jazz's birthday) and I was forced off the phone by Rick Party : ( That was one of the happiest days of my life. I tried to get through the lines the other times that they were in town, but I wasn't successful. Hopefully, the next time I talk to them, it will be in person and sometime very soon...

MY LUV FOR DRU HILL IS SO STRONG, so i'm gonna use my REAL name. aiight here it goes... When I was watching the movie EDDIE, my sister and I heard *Tell Me* and my sister was like "YEA!!! JODECI IS BACK!!!" and i was like "that aint Jodeci" and were listening and we heard JAZZ say "SISQO" ... during the credits we were looking at the soundtrack music credits and we saw "Tell Me...by Dru Hill" and we said who is that? must be a new group... later (i mean real later nt the same day) we were watching BET with my freind and we saw the TELL ME video. and i recorded it because i always record new artists videos BUT N-E-WAYZ i was like " Ooo he's fine, and so is he, o goodness so is he and...then i saw Sisqo... and I FELL TO THE FLOOR!! MMMMMM!! and i said *DAMN!!!* then he started singin his part like **Candle lights when were alone...i'm up in yo mix if u put me on..** and that STR8 TURNED ME ON!! to make this long story short... Saffran will always love DRU HILL and no one can replace them. (unless they make me mad but wit bodies like that...i doubt it'll happen) that my story. oh the memories. *snif* peace out *PLAYA*
