Nokio the N-Tity
Often we listen to a song and we are intrigued by the music, lyrics, and vocals, but it is rarely that we ask "Hey, who produced that?". This is where Nokio comes in. He is the Mr. Producer Man. Producing songs for groups like Pure Soul and artists like Mona Lisa, this man is no rookie to tha bidness. N-Tity Productions is just the beginning. This is what he want's to do, this is his love.
A lot of people ask me.. "Can nokio really sing?" Yes he can, we hear excerpts of him on the CD, but he is more of a background man. Its like if we were to compare Dru Hill to Jodeci (i know, it's been done) then Nokio would be like the DeVante of the group... with Sisqo being like K-Ci, Jazz being like Jo-Jo, and Woody being like Mr. Dalvin. Think about it, it's almost a perfect match, the only difference is that all the members of Dru Hill sing.
Nokio's vocals are so smooth and mellow that some say he's singing too low. That's understandable, being sexy is not about being loud and ruff talkin bout how hard you can do it. It's about setting the mood and going with tha flow. He makes you listen to his words, so he can penetrate (couldn't think of a better word) your mind....think about it, when you hear Nokio sing "excuse me for a moment, let me introduce myself..." or "I'm gonna say to myself, let tha stress of tha world from inside me...." in the back of your mind, you're like "WOAH...OK!!!". He can even express his sensuality while speaking... note: "Hey baby, you know there's nothing in this world i wouldn't do for you...", if that isn't the sexiest thing you've ever heard...(and i won't even mention the body art)
But it's not all about being sexy, Nokio has a wonderful personality also. He is so cool. What i mean by that is that he's not stuck on himself thinkin he's tha shit, and, he's not to worried about what other folks think.... Now, honestly, on the Billboard Music awards....how many of ya'll wanted to cry right along with him... if that wasn't some emotional shit.... Nokio was not lying when he said "If you tell us what you want, we'll always give you what you need". That's one thing about him that's so special, he has and always will love his fans, even when he's married with children. He will always be there for his fans..(if you ever catch him at tha crib)..cause he realizes that we are what makes him famous. If we didn't buy that music, they would still be singin bout how good that fudge is...........Lil' Blunt
